Ko Wai Au? | About
Kia ora,
Ko Ngāti Kahungunu te iwi.
Nō Wairarapa me Te Wairoa ahau.
Kei Te Matau-a-Māui e noho ana.
Ko Ash tōku ingoa.
I descend from Ngāti Kahungunu.
I am from Wairarapa and Te Wairoa.
I live in the Hawke's Bay.
My name is Ash.
I am proudly carrying on a whānau legacy.
This little business was lovingly passed down to me by my aunty and uncle (Te Uranga and Pīripi Winiata), who created it with heart and purpose. They saw that it needed fresh energy, time, and care — and they believed I was the perfect person to carry it forward. I could not agree more.
I create and sell Te Reo Māori greeting cards for all kinds of special occasions — from thanks to get well soon, and everything in between. Every card is designed to celebrate and normalise the beauty of Te Reo in everyday life.
I package and send each order myself, right from my home in Te Matau-a-Māui (Hawke’s Bay), with love and attention to detail. It is just me behind the scenes, and I would not have it any other way.
This is more than just a business to me — it is a way to honour my culture, my whānau, and the language that connects us. I am so excited to be on this journey and share these cards with you, your whānau, and your special moments.
Ngā mihi nui!
